Construction on our Renewable Natural Gas project is progressing at an incredible pace. This project, which is a partnership between Kewaunee Renewable Energy (a subsidiary of DTE Energy) and Kinnard Farms will produce enough renewable natural gas each year to provide energy for approximately 2,476 homes. To put this into perspective, this project will produce enough clean-burning renewable natural gas to power 1/3 of all households in our entire county!
This picture was captured on October 24 and captured a huge cement pour on one of the four Digester tanks. It’s amazing to see how far construction has progressed since this date.
